The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Bureau of Forestry, will be conducting a Gypsy Moth suppression project in portions of Leonard Harrison State Park. Treatment will be made with Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) in approximately mid to late May. Please contact the park office or check the park advisory web page for updates on when the treatment will occur. If desired, you may request a copy of a fact sheet for the insecticide to be used by contacting the park office.
