| The beach area is open during the summer and is unguarded, open swim is from sunrise to sunset daily within the buoyed areas ONLY. Sites 6 through 97 are now pet sites and will open on May 1 in 2009. This delay is due to a combination of reduced staffing and the need to make the area pet-friendly with new signage, water fountains, pet waste receptacles, and other upgrades. These sites will open at the same time as the rest of the campground beginning in 2010.
